I use two for my bushy haired cat and cat that sheds a lot. They seem to like the grooming. It is a little messy. Hair is in the comb and my hand and sometimes floating in the air but it does pull up the mats that tend to form on the bushy haired cat and it leaves their fur soft. Great item to have.

What I like about this comb is that my cat with a thick undercoat will tolerate it and purr madly while I'm using it. He tries to bite a regular brush. The handle is easy to hole and it's lightweight and doesn't scratch r hurt him. ANd does it get the fine underfur out! I get enough out t make a new cat.

I had a heavier kitty brush and Mimzy was so not in love with it. It cost three times as much as the cat comb and I had to hold her down just to get a few strokes in. Then the Cat Comb came and Mimzy loves it. Seriously, she hates when i stop combing her. She has medium long fur that's as soft as cashmere! The Cat Comb keeps her looking beautiful all the time!

As soon as I start using it, my cat starts purring. She stretches and moves to make sure I get every spot — every other comb or brush I tried she couldn’t get away fast enough. The curve to the bristles helps reach the loose, itchy fur underneath and leaves her fur so shiny and soft. It’s not rough on her skin, her face or her sensitive tummy. The bristles are flexible and move with her contours without catching. It’s comfortable to hold and easy to use and clean. Consider this to be cat-approved in my household!
