We orginally got this toy to help my four year old with his fine motor issues. It works well for that! But my older son also LOVES this set. I like how he has to think to figure out how to build the suggested sets. They offer suggestions but the child has to problem solve to figure out how to build the set. For example, how to attach both wheels without a single long screw... solution use 2 small ones on opposite sides. Seems simple but great for a 6 and 4 year old. Also like all the tools they provide.
My 3 year old loves this set. he keeps calling himself Handy Manny, although some of the colors of the tools are different. The box is really nice and makes a great carrying case that is easy to use and the tools are sturdy and super cute. The set has a small number of building pieces which makes it a great beginner set as there are not so many pieces it is overwhelming for a younger child. I would definitely recommend this set for a 3 year old.
We bought this as a gift for a 3 year old and he loves it! Solid product and great for kids to learn the basics! The set is a lot of fun! Keeps him occupied for a good while. What I like most about the set is that he will be able to use it for several years. The tools themselves are well made and not too âbabyâ looking. A few of the pieces are a little small for his age but will be perfectly fine in a year or two. Also, love the wooden storage box.
Cute tool set with tool box! My 3 year old always wants to help me tinker when Iâm fixing or putting something together with my screw driver, so this was a great set that he could play safely with and I can teach him what each tool is called.
Will have to see how it holds up, but it seems well made and I love that itâs made of wood like his other toys and puzzles that have held up so far!
My son loves open ended toys.. The moment I saw this, I knew I had to get it for him. It's really well made, smooth edges (safe for kids to play). Also love, that it's all wooden. The box is also really well made and great to keep the tools. There are lots of different structures & things that can be made using the parts provided.

What could be better:
It would be great to have a mesh bag or something similar to hold the smaller pieces as they tend to move all over the box once the box is closed (m sure I can find something for that, but just saying)
